yep, the title says it all! ungrateful people ANNOY me! the other day i was working and a girl comes and tells me that she was so pissed because on her lunch break she was driving to chick-fil-a and it turn her an extra five minutes to get there because there was a stupid marine's funeral going on. number 1. does she not realize my husband is a marine? 2. five minutes? really? oh no you poor thing! 3. a marine just gave up his life so other's can have a better one and his family is grieving and feeling so much pain and you are over here complaining about five extra minutes! seriously i wanted to slap the girl!!
then today i'm working and was talking about how excited i was that my husband is going to be home for good in two weeks and the girl i'm talking to is saying how she wishes that she could spend time away from her husband and how being married is hard.. and how it sucks! i went on to say how being married to a marine who has to spend all this time away makes you realize that the small stupid stuff you fight over isn't worth it and how you learn to appreciate each other and how precious time together is and how i'm so excited! she then goes on to tell me that as soon as he gets back i'm going to wish he was gone again.. nope sorry! sure, rey and i have our moments, but i'd give anything to be with him.. sorry lady! having a husband be gone all the time sucks and i hate that some people don't realize this.. seriously! be grateful that you have a husband around 24/7 and know that he's always safe and that you can call, text, or be together whenever the heck you want!
