eh, i am just over the thirty day challenge thing or whatever it was! i just haven't been in the mood to blog since my work schedule has been crazy and when i actually did have spare time blogging wasn't my number one priority, and now that i am so far behind i just don't feel like making up for it and doing it anymore.. so this is me moving on! also, i don't really think i have much to say, i just know that i haven't posted in forever and figured i probably should get something up!
so, let's see! today i checked my donut of misery and i only have 9% left!! crazy right?! i'm really starting to freak out! sometimes when i think about it i'll just get these crazy intense butterflies, and other times i will feel overwhelmed since i still feel like there is a lot to do but not enough time! all i know is i am so crazy excited! i'm pretty sure everyone at work is getting sick of me talking about how soon he is coming home, but at least they only have to deal with it for a little bit longer since my last day is friday! wooot! although, i will have to say i am really going to miss the people i work with! i have grown to be pretty close with a lot of these people and working has totally made this deployment fly by and without the friends that i have made at work i don't think it would have gone by this fast! the worst part about leaving is recently we got a bunch of new people and i like love them all, and they all tell me that i am their favorite person to work with.. AND there is one kid in particular who is just as obsessed with glee as me! like all we talk about when we work together is glee.. but we made sure to add each other on facebook so we can chat about it every tuesday! haha! so, as sad as i am to be leaving jordan commons and leaving my family.. it is so worth it to go back to california and have my rey back!! i miss him so ridiculously much! oh man, i just hope this last little bit goes by super fast! only a week and a half till i move to cali and i have lots to do to get ready for that, so hopefully once i move the rest will just fly by.. at least i am hoping so! i have quite a bit to do in that week i am there and have already planned to meet a few girls for lunch.. and helping my friend melissa move in... and since nights are the worst i have already planned to watch the first season of vampire diares that i bought the other day on black friday.. and if that doesn't work i always have glee!! haha! anyways.. i'm off!

Day 14 & 15
Day 14-'A picture of you and your family
yep! that be my family!! my naldo, my parents, and my brothers and sister! my brother brent is missing from this picture since he couldn't take the whole day off of work.. but it's pretty much most of them right?!

Alrighty, well that is that! So can I just tell you how happy I am to finally be able to say that Rey comes home in less than a month! ahhh! i am freaking out! I am sooooo ready for him to be home! Actually, I am putting in my two weeks notice tomorrow at work!! CRAZY!!! The best part is, we are going to be super busy the next two weeks because of Harry Potter and Thanksgiving and the movie Tangled that I am going to be working so much that it should hopefully make the next two weeks fly by, and then I'll be moving to Cali and then shortly after that Rey comes home.. so yay! I'm really hoping that since I am going to be keeping busy that time will continue to go by fast and not slow down! I am so thankful for my job right now because it is the perfect distraction and best way to keep me busy this last month! Like right now I am going to be working 9 days straight.. tomorrow marks day 5.. and in all according to this schedule in 11 days I am going to be working 10 of those! OH, and on thanksgiving i worked it out so that I am going to be working 12-close.. which means I will be working anywhere from 9-11 hours making time and a half! SCORE! well, that is all for now!

Day 13 - A letter
Day 13-A letter to someone who has hurt you recently
dearest father-in-law,
no, it is not cool if we just put the past in the past and forget that anything ever happened. yes, i would like to forget, but there is no way i will be able to forgive and forget without an actual apology. i know that's how you've done it in the past, but i have seen the damage that has done and i'm through with letting that kind of stuff happen, especially with rey! yes, i'll admit, i was a bit harsh myself but i'll apologize once i get an actual apology since you are the father here and you said some very unecessary things that just did not have to be said.. so yeah! the end!
okay, so enough of that! onto my skype date with the hubby! it was AMAZING! honestly, i think last night was the happiest i have been this whole entire deployment! the one sucky thing was he could only hear me and i couldn't hear him since all the microphones there were broken.. although, in a way i think it made it better. he would just type things in response.. and i really just don't know how to explain it, but it was just so fun, and it was so cute to see him laugh, even though i couldn't hear it. hearing his voice is amazing, but nothing beats seeing their face and seeing their reaction to everything you say. plus, moments like last night just make me know that everything will be fine when rey gets home. despite how many times rey and i have been apart and meet back up again, i always get that nervous feeling that something will be different, but it was just so fun and like the good ole times back in the day. he truly is my bestest friend and i can't wait to be with him and spend the rest of our lives and eternity with each other! i am so stinking lucky!!

Day 9,10,11, & 12
Day 9-Something you're proud of in the past few days
i am proud of the fact that i went and got rey and i an apartment! as many of my close friends know i don't like doing adulty type thing and whenever i have to go talk to someone or fix a problem i get nervous and try to get other people to do it.. so the fact that i went and got rey and i an apartment is pretty stinking awesome! PLUS! last time rey and i paid 1350 for the smallest apartment ever.. i think it was like 565 square feet.. and this time we are going to pay 1297 for a 700 square foot place! so yeah, i'm pretty stoked and can't wait to move in!
Day 10-Songs you listen to when you're bored, happy, sad, mad, hyped
hmm, well don't stop belivein is an all time fave! pretty much anything from glee makes me happy these days and i can listen to pretty much any of their songs.. as for sad songs country music generally does the trick..

i remember first seeing blogger a couple of years ago when my sister-in-law started one but i thought it seemed kind of lame. well, after i got married my friend laura told me to make one but i still wasn't all that convinced.. but i started one when i got super bored.. although, that blog didn't take off that well. i think it maybe only has like 3 posts.. i then started this one when rey deployed again and yeah!

Day Seven & Eight
Day 7-A picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you
my hubby!! even though he has only been a part of my life for a little under three years now, he still has made such a huge impact on the way my life is going, and where it will go in the future! growing up i was always saying how i would never marry someone in the military, and here i am married to a united states marine! craziness! my life has changed so dramatically, and went from being this silly girl who had absolutely no cares in the world, to a married woman who actually has quite a few cares and worries, but since it comes to my husband whom i love sooooo much it's worth it! even though at times i have my moments where i hate the military more than anything, i am so grateful to have this eye opening experience to see what these military wives and families have to go through as well as the military member themselves! i also can't wait for him to get back so we can continue the journey we have already started!
Day 8-Short term goals for this month and when you'll accomplish them
hmm, well, tomorrow i am leaving for california to apartment hunt, so i hope to get an apartment, a move in date, and possibly put in my two weeks notice at work! pretty much this weekend will determine when i will be able to accomplish all these goals! it's getting pretty darn close to rey's homecoming and part of me is feeling a tad bit overwhelmed that i wont have enough time to get everything done! luckily i have awesome friends and family to help me so i'm pretty sure i will get it all done!

Day Four/Five/Six
Day 4-A habit that you wish you didn't have
i wish i didn't bite my nails! i have been trying to stop for the longest time but i just can't stop! the worst is when i go and watch an intense movie and without realizing it i will just start biting my nails! tis the worst!!

DISNEYLAND!! my most favoritest place ever! that picture is from mine and rey's honeymoon!

i have never been a big super hero person.. i guess though i like the newer batman movies with christian bale, so i guess batman! Day Two: Name of my Blog

well, the name of this blog is deployment #2! i started this blog about a month before rey left and have been writing ever since. i felt like i would need a place to vent and get out all of my feelings during this deployment and i have been able to do just that! i don't know if i'll just keep writing on this blog or if i will just start a new blog after this deployment ends.. we shall see!!

Day One: 15 Facts & Picture
Day 1-Recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself
alrighty! i believe that party was the last time there was a photo taken of me so we shall just go with that! now, onto the facts!
1. growing up, i ALWAYS told myself and friends that i would NEVER marry a man in the military and here i am married to a marine and going through our second deployment together!
2. also growing up i seemed to have an insane obsession with barbies.. i think i played till i was about fourteen, but i think that just means i have a good imagination.. we'll just go with that one!
3. i rock at wii mario kart! i can seriously take on anyone! plus, all the people that have taken the challenge and said that they can beat me has failed.. the only one that comes close is my older brother brent.. but still, it's only happened like once.
4. speaking of the wii, i only bought one just so i could play mario kart.. as stupid as it sounds i am glad i did because that really helped me pass time on rey's first deployment.
5. another thing that helped me get through rey's first deployment was beverly hills 90210.. the old school one! i watched the whole entire 10 seasons... watching two episodes a day and have seen every episode.. it was ridiculous! i even had dreams that i was donna martin!!
6. i'm pretty sure i'm obsessed with the show glee! i have seen every episode in season one AT LEAST ten times and some more than that! if you tell me what happened in an episode i can even tell you what the name of the episode is and know all about the show.. such as what songs the actors who are in the show now used to audition for the show!
7. i like shopping, but only to a certain extent.. i generally hit this wall while shopping and once i do i seriously can't shop anymore and just get pissy until we leave! it's generally about an hour!
8. i like to fight.. i seriously think i get some sick thrill out of getting in fights (verbal only) and once i get going i don't stop! so if you give me the slightest opening i will fight with you and wont give up.
9. i regret quitting track.. when i was younger i was really really fast and took track and i even had high schools come up to my parents telling them that i should go to their high school.. i was only like nine or ten at the time.. unfortunately when i got more into soccer i quit track and put all of my energy into that!
10. i love me some soccer! that was my major sport growing up and i think i was pretty good. the only problem was, when i joined a competition team i stayed on that team for like five years and had pretty much learned all that coach could teach me and it just stopped being fun, especially when i wasn't learning anymore and stopped becoming one of the best players and just became an average player.
11. the number one thing i have always wanted to be is a mommy! honestly, i don't want to work and would prefer to be a stay at home mom like my mom! my mom is seriously one of my bestest friends and i seriously hope i can be a good of a mom as she was!
12. speaking of becoming a mom.. i want all boys.. maybe one girl, but i think just because of this i will get all girls! girls are just bratty and spoiled.. and yeah.. i just don't want them!
13. um.. my oldest brother and i are 19 years apart and didn't meet until i was almost two years old, since he left on his mission about a month before i was born.
14. i have been an aunt since the age of five and now my sister is about to have my 18th niece or nephew!
15. i have absolutely NO cousins and NO uncles! my mom only had one sister who never got married and my dad was an only child.. kind of funny that they ended up having eight kids, but i seriously love my big family and wouldn't change it for anything!

NOVEMBER!!
oh november, i am soooo excited you are here! the number one reason being, i can finally say next month my hubby comes home!! oh man, that just has the nicest ring to it!! the second reason why i am so excited is, in 11 days i am going apartment hunting!!! yay! even before rey had left, melissa and i had this all planned out, and i can't believe it is actually here! i am now this much closer to rey being home! i am so excited to see melissa because i obviously haven't seen her since, well, the boys left! plus, my friend laura is planning on driving down with me and i think it will be fun to show her my other home! oh man, i miss california SOOOOO much! with november, harry potter also comes and since i work at a movie theatre i'm pretty sure you can imagine how crazy it is going to be at jordan commons. when eclipse came out this summer it was pretty darn crazy, and i'm thinking this is going to be just as bad if not crazier! my guess is, i'll be working a lot more, and since it should be super busy and crazy my guess is it will make the time go by fast!! at least i hope so.. from past experience i know that the last part of the deployment seeems to drag on, and i am seriously hoping that this doesn't happen to me because i just want my naldo back!!
as for what's going on here it's pretty crazy!! my sister and brother-in-law are here and my bro-in-law is redoing some bathrooms, and my sis is basically taking care of the house.. i swear all that chick does is cook and clean! it's actually kind of funny cause she is pregnant and she just randomly cooks the wierdest stuff and every time i open the fridge there is something new in there. the reason my sister has taken over all the cooking and cleaning is because my mom just had surgery on both of her knees and just moved from the hospital to the rehab place! i misses my franny so hopefully she doesn't have to stay there for too long! she has been in the hospital since thursday and moved yesterday to the rehab place and yesterday was the first day that i went to visit and my mom was so excited and hugged me for the longest time.. i felt super guilty for not visiting before, but yesterday was my first day off, and hospitals kind of depress me.. i know, i'm a horrible daughter, but i am planning on visiting more! all we did was watch amazing race and undercover boss and i think just being there made her feel so much better.. but when all you can do is lay in a bed and watch tv and read i think i'd want guests too! also, can i just tell you how big of a pro i am at wheelchairs now! in my mom's room there is only one chair and then a wheelchair and since it was me and my dad i snagged the wheelchair and practiced.. i wanted to be like artie from glee.. and by the end of the night i was singing proud mary and dancing in my wheelchair.. sad, but true! haha! well, i think that is it peoples!
