digging life

i'm definitely digging life for the time being, although part of me is just waiting for the marine corps to get in the way and ruin things, but i guess i will just try and not worry about that till it happens. number 1, rey has his marine corps mess night this upcoming friday. basically it's like the marine corps ball since they missed it while they were deployed and i'm pretty excited to dress up and see rey in his dress blues for one last time. since he is now a corporal he gets the blood stripes on his pants and while it cost a buttload of money to update his uniform, it will be fun to see him wearing the uniform! then on monday it's valentines day! last year it was so fun to spend v-day together and i'm so excited that we get to celebrate it together again! plus, we are planning on hitting up disneyland on v-day and that should be super fun! oh, i also forgot to mention that on friday rey is going to a mike platoon (or at least i think that's what it's called). basically it is just a platoon that they made up for all the guys in 1/4 that are not going to deploy and FAP'd out yet! they know they aren't going to deploy so they are still going to be part of the unit, but they also wont have to do all the super crap and will hopefully be getting off a lot earlier.. like rey thinks all they will have to do is working parties and if not they should hopefully be able to just get off.. so i am seriously hoping for that and i am hoping that this means we will get a lot more quality time together before he gets out of the marines. the other exciting thing i am hoping for is glee concert tickets! there are three concerts that are going to be within an hour away from where we are living for the time being and the tickets are going on presale this friday for american express card holders so my dad is going to try and get me and rey tickets! i'm seriously crossing my fingers for these tickets because i think this would seriously make my life!! so hopefully everything pans out for me and rey because i think we deserve it!!
